Finally, exams are over! long over! The torture ended this monday, which Physical Pharmacy 1. Somehow, uni exams are just so long and tormenting. At least for me. :( But whatever, ITS OVER! Just waiting for results to be released in late feb.
Had a WONDERFUL, STRESS RELIEVING time this week. Went for a few proper meals (after 1 mth of pathetic food).. with my friends. Went apartment hunting too, just to check out what is available out there. Orientated myself around the huge city of manchester. Now i know Manchester slighty better, at least the places around me.
Sadly, Sem 2 is starting again on Monday. Haiz. I just wish this holidays would have been longer. Its quite sad to have to study for exams during the holidays, its just not the same enjoyment.
Chinese New Year is just the week after next. The feeling and atmosphere is not the same. Then again, how could it be the same? No chinese new year decorations along the streets, no clashing noises of lion dance troops (not that i like it anyway), no huge relative gatherings (not even my own family), no house hopping, no authentic chinese new year food, cookies and desserts, no 3 days of chinese new year holiday to look forward to, and most distinctly, no Red Packets! I miss home.
But then again, why brood over something that you don't have? Rejoice in things that you do have! At least CNY this yr, falls on a sat and sun (better than it was last yr, right smack in the middle of exams). There will be a big gathering of all my friends at Pearl City for CNY reunion dinner on new yr's eve! And my anticipated steamboat on CNY day! Though i don't have my parent's physical company, but i know they are there for me!! :)
