Ok..i shall keep this short...cause i am super...extremely tired!...today was my first day of clinic work... i rushed down from tp...after oc lec....to commonwealth... I was already tired before starting work..so i slept through out the whole 40 mins of mrt journey... Reached there and met pei rong..first...then zhi hui met us at around 650pm....i think zhi hui very jia lat lah...she has to rush down from her work..in national cancer center to this clinic....work after work...nonstop...
Anyway, work was rather rushy....patients streamed in endlessly...one after another...and the doctor's computer was...like some pentium 1 crap...LOL!...quite slow...anyway... i tired catching up here and there....searching for cards....printing stickers...keying in particulars... mainly admin work for today....cause i just started...dispensing of the medicine will be next week.... but i did learn alot today...like some drugs. And guess what..i finally saw..the "atenolol" drug...the beta blocker medicine for hypertension....the one we had learnt during HPI... haha..so its kinda applying what i learnt here and there.... cough medicine...fever....sleeping pills...i have yet to learnt their names...but...well i guess i need for practice...
And guess what...the doctor's writing was @#%&^!!!!!!!! LOL!!! now i fully understand why people say doctor's handwriting is horrible...it definately was arh...i couldnt even read what he was writing... his "2" was like a ",".......then his "t" was like a "4"....his "c" was like "l"...i was totally blur mann!!! i must really admire zh and pr...for the amazing ability to read his atrocious writing...LOL!...then somemore...after everything ended at about 10pm....he talked abit to me...and he said..." my handwriting is not too bad...it should be readable....so there shouldnt be much of a problem handling the drugs...right?"...i was like..."HUH???????????? u call that READABLE??????" LOL...i almost wanted to laugh..but ofcourse i nv lah..LOL!
Pei rong told me....haha....rmb to drink loads of water...and eat healthy and eat vit c and sleep more (haha..that i cant commit to)...cause..confirm...within 1 month..i sure fall sick...LOL..due of the sudden exposure to massive amount of bacteria in the clinic...and all the sick patients... manymany nice stories to tell about in the clinic...like a guy who survives on sleeping pills..LOL...but i'm too tired to tell it..LOL.. next time maybe....
I found out the hard way...." Don't do things you know you will regret in the future, cause when u want to seize opportunities which is staring right in your face, u realise that you don't even have the right to even think about getting the opportunity, thats when you know how handicapped and crippled you are....and that really pulls down your morale"
